Whether you are selling a home or buying one, an agent is not mandatory, but highly recommended. A good agent, will do most of the "heavy lifting" for you. From scheduling showings to negotiating the contracts. Contracts in real estate can be very time consuming for the seller/buyer to do on their own because a lot has to be filled out, attached, and reviewed CAREFULLY. Not filling out a contract or offer correctly can sometimes lead to a devastating outcome. An agent should always have your back and try to save you as much money as possible. They work with the other agent in the transaction and check in with the lenders and coordinators to make sure everything is running smoothly and on time to close. Purchasing a home for the first time can be quite nerve-racking and may have you feeling that it is not worth it, but it truly is the best investment. Choosing a good devoted agent can extinguish most of that anxiety and stress and keep you focused on the benefits of home ownership!
